ELISABETH ROSE
Elisabeth Rose Cassar is an Australian Fashion designer with an Italian background based in Melbourne. Cassar’s practice personifies luxury, femininity, and elegance through the making of feminine evening archetypes. She explores structural elements in fusion with classical design details.
Silhouettes within her practice are entwined with modern femininity and soft colourways that reference vintage glamour periods, delicate nature, and sentimental family heritage references. Her work is an arrangement of both the Ready-To-Wear and Couture.
She designs with delicate and structural fabrics, natural cotton, silk, satin, organza, tulle, and boucle. Fabric manipulation techniques she implements are pleating, gathering, and beading. Garments are produced through a custom process using commercial and couture construction techniques.
She aims to produce high-end garments that are timeless, allowing the wearer to cherish them and to pass them down through generations. Her collections display a strong sense of femininity, confidence, and delicate structure.
